Kids need their dads. Father involvement is a critical, but often overlooked, factor in the success and well-being of children.
Studies show that kids with an engaged father are less likely to:
- Grow up in poverty
- Drop out of school
- Be imprisoned as adults
- Be involved with a gang
- Be sexually promiscuous
- End up in foster care
Why Should I Volunteer?
Maybe you have an interest in filming videos, or would enjoy partnering with someone to facilitate a group discussion, or feel that you would like to be part of the five person team. Regardless of your reasons, interests, or talents you would bring as a volunteer, above all you will feel great satisfaction from the part you will personally play in creating a better future for a dad and his child.
