Volunteer Opportunities

Get in the Game! Be a Volunteer!

Destination...Dad needs caring and compassionate men and women to join our team. Many different volunteer opportunities are available to suit individual interests and schedules. Volunteers and professional project leaders will work together in focused, supportive teams. All you need is a caring heart and the determination to help children thrive by coaching and supporting their fathers. A complete training program will be provided.

Here are just a few of our Destination...Dad volunteer opportunities:

Support a trained leader in guiding incarcerated dads through InsideOut Dad, a proven and successful parenting curriculum, which teaches important fathering skills.
Videotape incarcerated fathers reading special books to their children. The books and videotapes will be sent to the children so they can enjoy the experience of having their fathers read to them.
Facilitate letter writing or day visits between children and their fathers.
Work with a team to coach and support a recently released father on connecting positively with his children.
Commit to pray in support of the dads, children, and volunteer teams.
